Seattle Tax/CPA Information

Seattle Small Business Tax Information.

Seattle has a business license Tax.  Businesses “engaging in business activities” within Seattle City limits are required to obtain a Seattle business license and pay the Business License Tax.  This include businesses that do not maintain a place of business within the city limits.  Businesses with revenues of less than $50,000 are exempt from paying the tax.  However, such exempt businesses are still required to file the return.  The return is due annually or quarterly.  Your filing frequency will be determined by the City based on information you put on your application.
Seattle also has an additional tax based on the number of employees.
As your CPAs, we would be happy to help you with any questions or Seattle tax filings.  Ask for CPA, John Huddleston or Jennifer Zhou, CPA.
